U.S. Commission on Civil Rights hears need for regulation of facial recognition technology

Testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights regarding federal agencies’ use of facial recognition technology suggests a need for regulation -- including requirements for independent audits of vendors -- in its procurement.
