Tech industry seeks to limit regulatory scope of European Union AI law prior to talks

A coalition of tech industry groups including developers and users of artificial intelligence are pressing European Union officials to pare back pending proposals that the industry says would dramatically expand the regulatory scope of the EU’s pending AI Act.
