Public interest group calls for rules, civil society engagement as HHS works to meet AI order deadlines

The Department of Health and Human Services should fully leverage its tasking under President Biden’s executive order on artificial intelligence by engaging a broad range of stakeholders and considering rules and fines to ensure responsible deployment of the technology across the health sector, according to consumer advocates at the group Public Citizen.
