Justice Dept. seeks public input on AI uses to promote civil, criminal justice

The Justice Department’s National Institute of Justice is seeking public comment on developing a report to the president on how the use of artificial intelligence could promote civil and criminal justice while preventing the emerging technologies from exacerbating discriminatory practices in sentencing and police surveillance, among other concerns, under President Biden’s AI executive order.
