Google seeks to keep pressure on class-action plaintiffs to show damages from AI

Google is accusing class-action litigants of “imagined” damages from the data and information used to train the tech giant’s generative artificial intelligence models, in the latest filing in a high-profile case that could set new legal standards for developing AI technologies.
