Omidyar-backed groups press Senate for ‘America-first’ chip access in NDAA

Senators should include legislation “Guaranteeing Access and Innovation for National Artificial Intelligence” -- the GAIN AI Act -- in the annual Defense authorization bill to truly prioritize domestic development of the technology over that of U.S. adversaries, according to a letter from Americans for Responsible Innovation and American Compass.
