Tech-backed group slams New York AI bill similar to vetoed Calif. legislation

The Chamber of Progress is calling attention to the “Responsible AI safety and Education” or RAISE Act -- legislation introduced in the New York State Assembly -- which the group says would disadvantage prospective entrants to the artificial intelligence industry in favor of incumbent developers.
