Senate Commerce panel meets with industry, academic leaders on ‘transparency’ in AI
A Senate Commerce subcommittee held a wide-ranging hearing on improving “transparency” around artificial intelligence products and services, delving into the role of regulation, data privacy and security and other issues as lawmakers try to fashion a policy approach to AI.
