White House meeting eyes more electric grid capacity to support AI data centers

The White House hosted its task force on AI data center infrastructure which included government and industry officials to discuss expanding the nation’s electric grid capacity to power artificial intelligence, while achieving emission reduction targets and avoiding hikes in consumer costs.
