Security analysts say AI provides ‘significant advantage’ to network defenders

The Institute for Security and Technology in a new report encourages network defenders to incorporate artificial intelligence into their security operations and vulnerability identification processes to stay ahead of malicious actors, Inside Cybersecurity reported.

The report released Oct. 10 says AI is bringing about a “significant leap in speed, scale, and completeness” that requires network defenders to adjust their approach.
