NIH seeks public input to craft first-ever AI strategic plan

The National Institutes of Health will seek public comment through July 15 to help shape its first-ever artificial intelligence strategic plan, which will guide AI research funding and initiatives at the agency for years to come, along with a one-year AI action plan, NIH principal deputy director Matthew Memoli announced at the Coalition for Health AI Leadership Summit on June 5, Inside Health Policy reported.
