Kelly, NIST AI Safety Institute leader under Biden, joins Anthropic

Elizabeth Kelly, the first and only director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Safety Institute, is now leading a “Beneficial Deployments” team at the AI firm Anthropic, according to her social media.

“Excited to be part of the Anthropic team and working to leverage AI for the greater good,” reads a May 7 post to Kelly’s LinkedIn profile.
