House Oversight panel sets hearing on AI, with energy focus

A House Oversight subcommittee will hold an April 1 hearing on “America’s AI Moonshot: The Economics of AI, Data Centers, and Power Consumption,” the panel has announced.

The Oversight subcommittee on economic growth, energy policy and regulatory affairs will hear from Neil Chilson, former Federal Trade Commission official and head of AI policy at the Abundance Institute; Josh Levi, president of the Data Center Coalition; and Mark Mills, executive director of the National Center for Energy Analytics.
