HHS announces caregiver artificial intelligence grant competition

The Department of Health and Human Services has unveiled a $2 million grant competition for industry to build and deploy artificial intelligence tools supporting caregivers, Inside Health Policy reported.

Grants will specifically fund projects supporting caregivers in providing “safe, person-centered care at home” and employers in “improving efficiency, scheduling, and training in the caregiving workforce,” HHS said in a Nov. 18 release.
