FDA plans for AI-assisted reviews signals HHS policy shift
In the latest sign that HHS is increasingly embedding artificial intelligence into its work under the Trump administration, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Marty Makary says he wants the agency to conduct widespread AI-assisted scientific reviews by the middle of the summer, Inside Health Policy reported.
“We have done our first AI-assisted scientific reviews this week,” Makary announced May 6 at the American Hospital Association’s annual membership meeting.
