Technology and other groups are warning that EPA’s proposal to gut its Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program could raise costs to businesses due to the likely need to implement ramped up voluntary or state-based reporting programs, while also jeopardizing the competitiveness of U.S. exports, Inside EPA reported.
