White House says it hit 90-day milestones under AI order, highlights efforts across agencies

The White House is highlighting over two-dozen actions completed under the first tranche of deadlines in President Biden’s sprawling artificial intelligence executive order, including proposed rules for cloud companies, risk assessments for critical infrastructure, and reporting requirements on safety test results.

The executive order was issued on Oct. 30 and required a first round of actions by federal agencies by Jan. 28.
