Walz brings strong privacy, data security record to Harris’ presidential bid

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz joins Vice President Harris’ presidential campaign as her running mate with a strong record for enacting data privacy protections, including from the use of artificial intelligence, and comes from a state seen as a national leader for setting restrictions on the use of deepfakes in elections.
