TechNet’s framework for federal AI policies focuses on coordination, risk-based approaches

The technology sector leadership group TechNet is offering a policy framework on artificial intelligence that calls for a “central coordinator” on federal AI policy, developing risk-based regulation that recognizes existing rules, mitigating bias, securing systems and developing the workforce.

“This comprehensive policy framework comprises five distinct sections, each addressing critical facets of this evolving ecosystem,” according to “TechNet’s Federal AI Policy Framework” released Oct. 27.
