Tech industry group offers pro-growth AI strategy for Canada, leveraging existing rules

The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation has laid out a pro-growth strategy for Canada’s tech industry which includes leveraging existing public safety regulations to promote the use of artificial intelligence.

The think tank strategy, developed by a former Canadian government adviser, comes at a time of intensifying competition between Canada and the United States under the Trump administration.
