Tech and other business groups cite key privacy bill shortcoming in letter to House committee

Major technology and other business groups say the American Privacy Rights Act, a leading legislative proposal advancing in the House Energy and Commerce Committee, must be revised to fully pre-empt state privacy laws to gain their support.
