Stakeholders: Trump RFI sets out approach for considering AI issues, without prescriptions

Industry and other stakeholders are preparing responses to an open-ended request for information from the White House that could shape the new administration’s artificial intelligence policies for years to come.

The RFI could mark a sea change in AI policies to align with President Trump’s directive to “define the priority policy actions needed to sustain and enhance America’s AI dominance, and to ensure that unnecessarily burdensome requirements do not hamper private sector AI innovation.”
