Software industry emphasizes role of NIST framework for AI procurement rules

BSA-The Software Alliance has issued “global AI policy solutions” that call for “anchoring” federal procurement rules in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s artificial intelligence risk management framework and for Congress to pass laws on privacy and high-risk impact assessments, among a set of recommendations in a dozen areas.
