Sens. Heinrich, Rounds unveil legislation to leverage AI for pandemic preparedness

Sens. Martin Heinrich (D-NM) and Mike Rounds (R-SD), co-chairs of the Senate’s AI working group, have introduced legislation to leverage the power of artificial intelligence to enhance the U.S.’s pandemic preparedness through the establishment of a MedShield program as recommended by the National Security Commission on AI.
