Senators question adequacy of Biden voluntary AI agreements to counter Chinese influence

Bipartisan leadership of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is questioning the adequacy of the Biden administration’s voluntary commitments with tech companies on managing their artificial intelligence risks to be the basis for enforceable global standards, as part of reining in the influence of China.
