Senate Intelligence members Cornyn, Warner herald high-tech acquisition add-on to NDAA

The annual defense policy package cleared last week by the Senate includes legislation to streamline the intelligence community’s procurement of artificial intelligence and other advanced technology, with a new program to move products from R&D to the production stage that’s intended to bolster participation by smaller “nontraditional” contractors.
