Senate Homeland Chair Peters doubles down on replicating ‘NICE’ framework for AI workforce

A bill introduced by Senate Homeland Security Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI) and Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) would task the National Institute of Standards and Technology with developing a framework that details the job roles, knowledge, and skillsets associated with artificial intelligence in a bid to improve national competitiveness.
