Senate Foreign Relations pushes State Department to use of its data for AI diplomacy

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee urged State Department officials to expand the use of the department’s unique data gathered on geopolitical and economic conditions around the world for artificial intelligence-enhanced diplomacy, as part of a bipartisan push for State to do more on ensuring U.S. leadership in setting global AI standards and enforceable regulations.
