Sen. Cruz releases reconciliation package with AI moratorium provision

Senate Commerce Chairman Ted Cruz (R-TX) has released his committee’s contribution to the massive tax-and-spend reconciliation package, including a moratorium on state artificial intelligence laws and regulations seen as hindering development of the technology, although the provision is structured differently from the House-passed version.
