R Street Institute to lawmakers: Drop ‘radical’ AI proposals and focus on incremental steps

The free market-oriented R Street Institute is urging Congress to “break AI policy down into its smaller subcomponents” and focus on incremental legislative steps rather than sweeping proposals, or risk stalemating over the complex issue and ceding the policymaking high ground to other players.
