Procurement regulators offer expedited approval of AI services for federal agencies

The General Services Administration has issued a notice under its federal tech modernization fund for agencies to request artificial intelligence services and products, with an option for expedited approval of projects costing less than $6 million.

The proposals must comply with President Biden’s executive order issued in October for secure and safe AI products, GSA says in its Feb. 8 announcement.
