Privacy research group urges NIST alignment with global codes of conduct for synthetic data guide

The World Privacy Forum, a member of NIST’s AI Safety Institute Consortium, is urging the agency to hew closely to international standards development processes as it advances synthetic content guidance under an artificial intelligence executive order and in work at the new consortium.
