Presidential AI advisory committee eyes ‘minimum standards’ for data transparency

The National AI Advisory Committee is considering recommendations for developing “minimum standards” for data transparency to guide the training and development of artificial intelligence models to ensure accuracy and trustworthiness.

“Knowing what kind of data a model is trained on is very pertinent for making decisions about how to deploy that model in a trustworthy manner,” said NAIAC member Paula Goldman who moderated the Feb. 22 panel discussion on data transparency.
