Plaintiffs reject Humana’s claims of Medicare procedures in landmark AI lawsuit

Class-action plaintiffs are rejecting claims by health insurance giant Humana that their landmark lawsuit over the company’s use of artificial intelligence amounts to an appeal of denied Medicare coverage, in urging a federal district court to deny Humana’s request to dismiss the case.

“This is simply not what Plaintiffs seek here,” plaintiffs tell the U.S. district court for western Kentucky in their April 28 brief opposing Humana’s motion to dismiss.
