OSTP nominee Kratsios pushes expanded government use of AI

To ensure U.S. leadership on artificial intelligence, the federal government should increase its promotion and adoption of the technology, Michael Kratsios, President Trump’s nominee to lead the Office of Science and Technology Policy, told lawmakers while noting the absence of methodologies to assess AI on a fundamental level.
