NIST seeks partner to stand up center of excellence on critical tech standardization

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has announced a funding opportunity, valued at $6 million for the first two years, for a private sector partner to launch and run a center of excellence on standardization in critical and emerging technologies, a high priority for officials eager to cement U.S. leadership in global tech policy amid rapid advances in artificial intelligence.
