NIST kicks off AI Safety Institute by stressing long view for establishing ecosystem of trustworthiness

Senior officials at the National Institute of Standards and Technology marked the launch of its AI Safety Institute for testing and evaluating artificial intelligence systems by stressing that collaboration with the private sector and academia on research will set the basis for an enduring ecosystem of trustworthy AI systems.
