Mozilla seeks to ensure AI model access for researchers while addressing privacy, security risks

Mozilla in an extensive policy paper offers recommendations to ensure independent researchers can examine the safety and security of closed AI foundation models, saying current voluntary initiatives embraced by major AI developers are inadequate and that policymakers should create a “structured program.”
