Microsoft argues burdens of New York Times’ expanded complaint in landmark copyright suit

Tech giant Microsoft argues that allowing the New York Times to dramatically expand its complaint alleging copyright infringements from the training of artificial intelligence models would overburden the company to the point of denying it a just defense, in a recent filing with a federal New York district court.
