Lawmakers extend conversation over AI workforce impacts with hearing on tech’s safety role
Congress has a single hearing this week focused on artificial intelligence, but it’s on the topic that’s driving conversations in government and the private sector: AI’s impact in the American workplace.
The House Education and Workforce Committee’s workforce protections subcommittee this week announced witnesses for a Feb. 11 hearing on AI titled “Building an AI-Ready America: Safer Workplaces Through Smarter Technology.”
