Krishnamoorthi, AI policy vet and China hawk, announces Senate bid

Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL), the top Democrat on the House China select committee who has focused extensively on AI issues, will run for an open Senate seat in 2026, the lawmaker announced May 6.
