Key lawmakers flag copyright issues as priority in a stream of AI legislation to come

Rep. Jay Obernolte (R-CA) singled out questions of fair use and intellectual property as artificial intelligence issues for timely action by lawmakers, while suggesting that Congress will be working on a slew of legislation to address use of the technology more broadly for years to come.
