Judge rebuffs Stability AI request to narrow copyright infringement claims in AI lawsuit

A federal judge appears to have rejected a request by Stability AI to narrow the scope of copyright infringement claims remaining against the company’s generative artificial intelligence product, after the judge last month granted a partial dismissal of the class-action lawsuit and allowed plaintiffs to refile their complaint.
