Judge cites role of AI for search engine competition in landmark ruling against Google

A federal district court judge cited the role that artificial intelligence has played, and will continue to play, in spurring tech industry competition for better search engines, while acknowledging that the transformational technology has yet to supplant the “traditional ingredients” of online searching.
