Internet pioneer sees shared APIs, auditing and digital identity standards in AI future

Consumer demand in the age of artificial intelligence will drive cloud service providers to work together, just as it forced companies to collaborate at the dawn of the internet, predicts Vint Cerf.

Cerf, vice president and chief internet evangelist at Google, is known as a “father of the internet,” for his work co-developing TCP/IP, the transmission control and internet protocols that allowed computer networks to communicate with each other for the first time.
