House Energy and Commerce discusses AI innovation, regulation and a possible moratorium

Lawmakers on a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee discussed balancing promotion of AI innovation with installing appropriate guardrails at a hearing on artificial intelligence and the communications sector, while debating a Republican-proposed moratorium on state AI regulation.
