House defense bill requires DOD to report on AI use to counter chemical threats, manage data

A House Armed Services Committee report on its recently approved National Defense Authorization Act would require the Pentagon to report to lawmakers on the use of artificial intelligence to counter chemical and radiological threats as well as to modernize and streamline the process for declassifying sensitive information.
