House AI task force releases bipartisan report to guide next Congress on targeted, sectoral regulations

A bipartisan House task force on AI has released its highly anticipated report intended to guide the next Congress under new Republican majorities on regulating artificial intelligence while taking a targeted, sectoral approach to limiting harms.

“The Task Force members feel strongly that Congress must develop and maintain a thoughtful long-term vision for AI in our society,” says the Dec. 17 report.
