Hickenlooper-Capito proposal for auditing AI among bills queued for Senate panel action

Sens. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) introduced a bill last week for auditing the trustworthiness of artificial intelligence systems which was quickly added to a list of more than a half-dozen AI bills set for markup by the Commerce Committee on July 31.
