Google cites dismissal of OpenAI case to seek similar relief from class-action suit

Google is urging a California federal district court to approve its motion for dismissal of a class-action lawsuit for alleged privacy and copyright violations by its generative artificial intelligence tools, citing a recent decision by a different judge in the same court that threw out a similar lawsuit against OpenAI.
